Welcome to my blog! I wanted to create a space where issues, questions and concerns, from all political sides and angles could be discussed and debated with all voices involved being heard. I am a conservative christain and unfortunately, in todays turbulent times, it can be difficult to have a fair and balanced debate. Our voices can sometimes fall to whispers in the back of the room. The media as we all know, leads to the left. No surprises there. That’s part of the reason I wanted to start a political blog. So, every voice can be heard.
Before I started this new idea for talking about all things politics, I was busy being me. I am a mom of 4, a widow, a volunteer in my community, and work part time, when needed to help out at the family business. I wear many different hats throughout my day, just as many of you out there do. I also share my home with two dogs and two cats. We definitely love animals in this family. And, I guess you could say I am a bit of a workout fanatic. The gym is my therapy.
I would also be remiss if I did not mention the importance of faith in my life. I attend mass regularly, pray often and have a deep and definite belief in God. I am not perfect in any way shape or form, but I am a believer. I’m not one of those people who can recite scripture correctly, but I do my best to share with others what I believe in.
Life is a marathon, not a sprint. At different stages in our life, we can aspire to achieve goals and realize dreams. Like chapters in a book, we can turn the page and begin something new. I hope you will join me, as I begin a new chapter in my life and begin a dialogue with others about what is going on in our world, and how the politics of it all affects us both as a community and as individuals.
